My thighs are aching like crazy, my body feels worn out and exhausted and if i close my eyes right now, i could just sleep. But i just had to come online to blog about Odac, because the camp was fantastic, and most definitely one of the
best camps i've ever attended. =)
In fact, i was so sad when we were about to be dismissed. I really wished it was more than a 2D/1N thing, i wish it could last a wk.
The people were fantastic =D Of course what made it special was cos Berlin and Samantha joined Odac for my sake haha. And there's Farihin, (Hamdi's sister!!!!!), a pretty girl who i've gotten to know better through the camp, and of course, the Certified Chaos, my grp haha.
The seniors organized activities which were really fun, and original haha. Something we would nv ever be able to achieve in Guides ha.
We played Captain's ball using
CABBAGE, and we were so into the game at 11pm that this
crazy uncle from one of the near by HDB flats used his loudhailer and shouted at us to stop playing and to get our teacher to see him, in a really creepy voice. We shifted our game to the field, but we were alrdy discussing ways to kill him lol.
Then there was the
candle game where we had to burn our opponent's "wall", which was really just made out of rafia strings -.- It was quite dangerous though lol, the way we all precariously held our candle as we tried to defend ourselves frm having the candle blown out, and having to blow at the other team's candles lol.
There was also this
blindfold game where everybody was separated and supposed to find their own groups back through voices. Our grp was last, and everyone else who finished were confusing all of us, and made us damn malu =(
But it was still fun la, so thats all that matters anyway.
And
Night Walk!
My first night walk, believe it or not..and im proud to say, i conquered it!
Although i really must thank Mark for being my partner haha. He just made the whole thing seem much less scary and creepy than it was.
We were first fed with ghost stories about the school and in other places, and then,
We were all made to go in pairs and travel round the whole sch, the audi, j block, past the staff rm, up, down, in the toilets (which had no freaking light on).
One of the worst places would be having to go in to the
dark toilet, and
INTO the cubicle to retrieve a balloon on top of the toilet bowl, and me being a chicken , i screamed when i saw this floating head which only turned out to be a mop. Wtf.
So i forced Mark to go in and retrieve while i held open the door bwhaahha to provide light.
Another would be having to go through the
dungeon(basement and into the back of the hall), which is alrdy dark in the day, so imagine, at night, its total darkness and we're unable to see anything save for a few light sticks which guided us through the route.
This senior just came out and screamed at us, and then we opened the door, and another one came out and screamed and i couldn't jump even though i was shocked because the other senior suddenly grabbed my legs frm behind and i was gripping Mark so tight i think i nearly twisted his arm lol.
He must have found it a torture to go through night walk with me, but im glad he was there haha. (:
By the time activities ended, it was abt
3-4am.
Yes, imagine, in guides, it was alrdy lights out at what, 10 pm?
Here, they dont give a shit whether you slp or not lol.
This morn, went for lectures.
Then, we did
flying fox and rock climbing.Wooo. Pure fun and a great bout of adrenaline heh =)
And
wet games were halfway disrupted by rain.
Which was quite fun as well haha.
Im thankful its just purely water and not mixed with food and nonsense lol.
So at the end, i'd made many friends, and i like my seniors cos they are such a nice and funny bunch, and the best of all, i had fun the whole way.
Why oh why did i pon all Odac meetings in 1st 3 mths. Stupid stupid me.
